After losing his ex-boyfriend due to questions about his gender identity, Tyler also loses himself somewhere along the way. Tyler (he/him, transgender man) has a mental breakdown in a crappy college bathroom, where he meets Casey (he/him, pansexual man), who saves Tyler's life without a pause. They become inseparable friends (and more), individually overcoming their mental health challenges side-by-side.
